RJH Biosciences provides polymer-based transfection solutions supporting RNA and DNA delivery across cell lines, primary cells, and in vivo models. This edition highlights recent client work, including high-throughput polymer screening for siRNA delivery and functional siRNA library screening in human breast cancer and fibroblast cells.
Screening for Optimal Delivery Formulation
Three polymeric delivery systems were evaluated for siRNA delivery across multiple formulation ratios and siRNA targets. The heatmap summarizes relative performance of tested polymer/siRNA combinations, highlighting how formulation parameters influence delivery efficiency. This type of focused screening allows rapid comparison of candidate delivery systems to identify delivery systems suitable for downstream biological studies.
Screening for Active and Specific siRNAs
An siRNA library was screened in human breast cancer cells (MDA-MB-436) and human foreskin fibroblasts using an RJH transfection reagent optimized for functional delivery. Cells were treated with apoptotic siRNAs and relative growth was assessed 3 days afterwards. Growth was normalized to untreated controls (100%). This type of study supports siRNA screening workflows across diverse human cell models for therapeutic development.
